– Set is nearly identical to the 1989 WWF Classic, 159-card set.
– Packaging (boxes, wrappers, etc.) can have the 1990 date on them, but it is possible to find cards with the 1989 © on them.
– All cards with the 1990 date on the back read: “© 1990 TitanSports Inc. All Rights Reserved. — © 1990 Classic Games, Inc. A subsidiary of The Score Board, Inc. All Rights Reserved”. Only the promo cards have the following text on them: “® Registered Trademark of TitanSports, Inc.” Also, all cards with Hulk Hogan read on the back : “© 1990 TitanSports, Inc. HULK HOGAN, HULKAMANIA and HULK RULES are trademarks of the Marvel Comics Group licensed exclusively to TitanSports, Inc. – There are 2 different versions of the logo cards. The difference in the logo cards is on the back, not the front. Both sets are numbered 136 – 145. Set 1 has the WWF and Classic trademarks plus all 10 logo cards available with no information about a Logo Contest on them. Set 2 has the WWF and Classic trademarks plus all 10 logo cards with the following information about a logo contest that reads: Logo Contest – Collect all 10 logo cards and Win a free WWF wall poster! Send all 10 logo cards to Classic Games Inc., 6488 E. Spring St., Douglasville, GA 30134. (See checklist for examples)
– Bonus Promo cards are not numbered. All 5 Bonus Promo cards have a purple border and are exclusive to the Limited Edition Collector’s Set. UPC #017281200081. This set contains the entire 145-card set, along with a blue album and the 5 purple border Bonus cards. Back of the packaging also has a complete checklist of the series.
– The Wrestling Card Collector’s Album are blue in color. The pages are glued in to the spine of the album.
– Factory sets exist and come in a small flip top box. UPC #017281200036
